With Gratitude - OLITA

With Gratitude

I have been traveling a lot recently for both business and personal fun. After not being able to travel because of the global pandemic, it is something I appreciate so much more. I have extreme wanderlust (borderline nomad). My travels have taken me across the immense diversity of our country - tropical beaches, rough coastlines, and mountain peaks that touch the heavens and make me long to ski fresh tracks. On my travels I am always grateful to see friends and family along the way. It fills my soul to reconnect with my most treasured people and hear about their lives and simply enjoy the mutual love of an old or new friendship. I appreciate those visits with close friends who make me feel appreciated, loved, but especially honored.

In the words of Michael Josephson, "The world has enough beautiful mountains, meadows, spectacular skies, and serene lakes. It has enough lush forests, flowered fields and sandy beaches. It has plenty of stars and the promise of a new sunrise and sunset everyday. What the world needs more of is people to appreciate and enjoy it."

What I always told my children growing up is not to accumulate things. Rather, accumulate memories and experiences. Those last forever. That is what you will be most thankful for throughout your life. Not the stuff.

I am thankful for all the beauty of our earth. And the good fortune to enjoy it.

I appreciate you coming on this ride with OLITA.

With gratitude,

Laurie
